Stephen Lockridge MA, MTS, LPC-MHSP

Therapy for adults who are ready to face what’s actually keeping them stuck.

I work with adults who may look like they have it together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected underneath

My approach to therapy is both compassionate and direct. I work to understand you deeply and create a space where you can be honest about what’s really going on.

At the same time, I help you face the patterns, emotions, and realities that may be keeping you stuck. This is not surface-level work—it’s a process of moving through what’s underneath so that real change and a greater sense of clarity and ease can emerge.

I have experience supporting clients navigating LGBTQ+ concerns, including those working through shame, judgment, or religious trauma connected to their identity.

I also offer EMDR therapy, a powerful approach for working through trauma, anxiety, and experiences that continue to feel stuck.

About Stephen

I’ve always been fascinated by people’s stories; what shapes us, what we carry, and what helps us move forward. That curiosity, along with my own life experience, led me into this work.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an FBI Agent and crisis negotiator, where I learned how to stay steady and connected in difficult, high-stakes moments.

In therapy, I bring that same presence, working to understand you deeply, helping you make sense of what’s been hard, and supporting you as you move toward something more grounded and hopeful.
